2. Data Processing & Storage Period
As an insurance broker, I process your data primarily to fulfill my brokerage mandate (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Health data
For health, occupational disability, long-term care, life and similar insurance, it is necessary to process information about your health (e.g. for risk pre-assessments and applications). I process these special categories of personal data only with your explicit consent (Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR) and only pass them on to the insurers or platforms required for risk assessment and conclusion of the contract. Anonymous risk pre-assessments are made without your name. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Data Disclosure
Your data will only be passed on to third parties if this is absolutely necessary for contract fulfillment (e.g., to insurance companies, comparison platforms, or cooperation partners).
Storage Period
Your personal data remains with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke consent for data processing, your data will be deleted unless there are other legally permissible reasons for storage (e.g., tax or commercial law retention periods of up to 10 years).
3. Website Provision & Hosting
When visiting this website, technical information is automatically recorded in server log files (e.g., shortened IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system). The IP address is shortened by its last two octets so that it can no longer be linked to you. The log files serve the security and stability of the website (e.g., defending against attacks) and are automatically deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
SSL or TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser's address line changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
Hosting at ALL-INKL
This website is hosted at ALL-INKL.COM (Friedersdorf, Germany). Your data is stored exclusively on German servers. Usage is based on our legitimate interest in secure website provision (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR/DSGVO).
4. Analysis Tools & Communication
Reach Measurement with Matomo
We use the privacy-friendly tool Matomo on our own server for statistical analysis of website usage. No cookies are set for tracking purposes, no device or browser characteristics (such as screen resolution or plugins) are read, and IP addresses are immediately anonymized. Data processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing our website (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). You have the option to object to the recording of your visits here:
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contractual/pre-contractual measure) and on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
Pension Depot Waitlist
If you join the waitlist for the Altersvorsorgedepot (Pension Depot), we store your email address, optionally your first name, the page on which you signed up, and the time and content of your consent in a Google Sheet (Google Workspace, see below). You will first receive an email with a confirmation link; only after you confirm (double opt-in) will we inform you about the launch of the Altersvorsorgedepot and about its subsidies and deadlines. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing info@makler-huesken.de or by replying to one of our emails. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days; confirmed sign-ups are deleted after you withdraw your consent, but no later than 12 months after the launch of the Altersvorsorgedepot.
Digital Revocation Form
When you use our digital revocation form, we process your personal and contact details (name, address, email address, phone number) as well as policy details (insurance company, policy number, date of contract conclusion, insurance category) to generate, transmit, and log your formal revocation statement. Data is transmitted immediately via email to the selected insurance carrier or to us for forwarding. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of statutory rights/contractual measures) and your explicit consent for forwarding (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
AI Tool Claude (Anthropic)
For internal support in drafting responses to customer and prospect inquiries, we use the AI tool Claude by Anthropic PBC (USA). We only enter anonymized or pseudonymized content; names, contact details, and other personal information are removed before entry. As a result, personal data is generally not transmitted to Anthropic.
WhatsApp, Signal & Communication
When contacting us via WhatsApp or Signal, we use end-to-end encryption. Please note the privacy policy of WhatsApp/Meta or Signal Messenger LLC.
Google Workspace
For emails, documents (Google Docs), appointment bookings (Google Calendar), the processing of contact form inquiries and the waitlist (incl. Google Sheets via Apps Script), and data collection via forms (Google Forms), we use Google Workspace. For process optimization, we also use integrated AI tools (Google Gemini). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google under Art. 28 GDPR; any transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. We have also explicitly set the storage location of the data to the European Union (EU).
Vimeo
To integrate videos, we use the provider Vimeo. The video only loads when you click the preview image; no data is sent to Vimeo before that. When you click, a connection is established to Vimeo's servers. Vimeo is informed which of our pages you have visited. Vimeo also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo or do not have an account there. The provider is Vimeo.com, Inc. (USA); data may be transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is your consent by clicking the preview image (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG); it applies only to the respective video.
Storage in Your Browser
We do not use tracking cookies. In your browser's local storage (localStorage) we only store what you choose yourself or what the site needs to work: your colour scheme (light/dark), your selected language and, if you object, your objection to web analytics. In addition, a service worker stores pages and files of this website in the browser cache so they load faster and are available offline. This data never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary or expressly requested by you).
Note on Data Transfer to the USA
We use tools from companies based in the USA (e.g., Google, Meta, Vimeo, Anthropic). When these tools are active, personal data can be transferred to the USA. We point out that since July 2023, the USA is again considered a safe third country with a data protection level comparable to the EU standard through the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), provided that the US companies are certified according to the DPF. The service providers we use have this certification or we use standard contractual clauses (SCCs - Standardvertragsklauseln).

blau direkt GmbH
For digital inventory management, calculation of comparisons, and providing the customer folder (brand: simplr), we use the various technical platforms and services of blau direkt GmbH.
LV Werk GmbH
We use the platform of LV Werk GmbH for comparison calculations and processing of life and pension insurance.
KV Werk GmbH
We use the services of KV Werk GmbH for assistance with comparisons and the processing of private health and supplementary insurance.
WIFO GmbH
We work with WIFO GmbH as a broker pool to utilize additional coverage concepts, comparison calculators, and processing services.
MAXPOOL Maklerkooperation GmbH
We use the services of MAXPOOL Maklerkooperation GmbH for process support and contract management.
VEMA eG
As a member of the VEMA Versicherungs-Makler-Genossenschaft eG, we use their technical infrastructure, comparison calculators, and databases to optimize our consultation.
Kassensuche GmbH
We cooperate with Kassensuche GmbH to perform statutory health insurance comparisons and to support the digital provider switching process.
Deutsche Vorsorgedatenbank AG
We cooperate with Deutsche Vorsorgedatenbank AG for the mediation of the Premium Emergency Service and the storage of vorsorge documents.
Covomo Versicherungsvergleich GmbH
We use the platform of Covomo Versicherungsvergleich GmbH for comparison calculations and processing of specialized insurance types such as travel, pet, or e-bike insurance.
NAFI GmbH
We use the platform of NAFI GmbH for comparison calculations and processing of car and vehicle insurance.
The transfer of your data to these partners is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR/DSGVO (contract fulfillment) and to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR/DSGVO).
Embedded comparison calculators: On some pages we embed comparison calculators from these partners directly (blau direkt GmbH via maklerinfo.biz, NAFI GmbH, Covomo Versicherungsvergleich GmbH, Kassensuche GmbH). These calculators only load when you click "Load calculator"; no data is sent to the provider before that. After your click, your browser connects to the respective provider's servers; your IP address and the address of the page you are viewing are transmitted. The providers may also use cookies or similar technologies, for which they are responsible themselves. Your entries in the calculator are processed directly by the respective provider. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG) and, if you conclude a contract via the calculator, the initiation of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The consent applies only to the current page view.
Google reviews: The Google reviews shown on the homepage are retrieved by our server via the Google Places API and served from a cache. Your browser does not connect to Google for this, and no personal data of yours is transmitted to Google.
6. Social Media Presence
We maintain profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Mastodon. When visiting these pages, the privacy policies of the respective platform operators apply (LinkedIn Ireland, Meta Platforms Ireland, or the respective Mastodon instance operator).
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, e.g. server log files, audience measurement with Matomo), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. If we process your data for direct marketing, you can object at any time without giving reasons. You can also object to audience measurement directly in the “Reach Measurement with Matomo” section above.
Revocation of your consent: Many data processing operations (such as the use of WhatsApp) are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke a previously given consent at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: In the event of violations of the GDPR (DSGVO), the data subjects have a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
